What type of interpreter do I need?
Bilingual conversation interpreter
The interpreter translates the conversation, sentence by sentence, from the language of speaker A to the language of speaker B and vice versa. A bilingual conversation interpreter is often used in negotiations, at trade fairs, business trips, etc. and does not require any equipment.
In this case the interpreter translates parts of the conversation while the speaker pauses. The consecutive interpreter is used in presentations involving several listeners and does not require any equipment.
The interpreter translates whilst a speaker is talking. At congresses, the interpreter often works in a booth. For smaller audiences, a whispering interpreter may be the solution. In this case, a mobile installation is required.
