When preparing the quotation, we take the following into account:
- The language combination
- The nature, contents and length of the texts
- The delivery time required
- Please get in touch with your contact person if you have any questions about the quotation.
After receiving your approval, your BTS contact person, usually your account manager or a project manager, forwards your assignment to the right project manager. In addition to a permanent contact person, you are also served by a permanent project manager and permanent translators at BTS. The more assignments that we complete for you, the more familiar our employees become with your organisation and the texts that need to be translated. This makes consultation easier, improves the quality of translations and shortens the completion times of your assignments.
The project manager selects the right translator after receiving the assignment. Wherever possible, we work with translators who have a thorough knowledge of your area of expertise. Furthermore, we engage the same translators for the same client whenever we can.
The project manager sends the texts to be translated to the translator and monitors the progress of the translation. Following delivery of the translation by the translator, the project manager forwards it and the original text to a reviewer, who thoroughly checks the translation. A translation is only complete when the reviewer has given his or her approval.
In the performance of its work, BTS complies with the working procedures laid down in its ISO-certified quality system. We adhere to the EN certification guidelines regarding the quality of translations.
