Pension communication Case
BTS has years of experience working for several (pension) insurers and funds. In recent years, there has been an increasing need for clear pension communication. The Pensions Act imposes stringent demands in this field and surveys have shown that employees want to know more about their pension situation.
We help you provide the required information for your foreign employees, too.
Translated documents include:
– Uniform Pension Overviews (UPOs)
– Pension agreements
– Pension schemes
– Correspondence
– Pension contracts
Specialised in financial translations
For a big (pension) insurer, we recently translated a document concerning its pension scheme into English. The Dutch document targeted all employees and clearly explained the company’s official pension scheme. The English translation supplied by BTS needed to be formulated in the same clear way. For this project, BTS worked with a translator specialised in financial translations with particular knowledge of the terminology used in pension communications. Like the source text, a translation must always take into account its intended target group. The pension scheme therefore had to be translated using the right terminology and be clearly formulated, so that everyone would understand it.
Stringent quality control as standard
Once the translation was completed, it was checked by an independent reviser. This is standard procedure at BTS, involving a check for completeness, spelling and grammar. For this translation, it also meant ensuring correct use of terminology and that it was suitable for all the company’s employees.
The finished translation was subsequently posted directly on their website.
