For many years BTS has been the preferred vendor of KPN. Within KPN, we translate for many different departments, such as mobile telephony, land-based telephony, internet, consumer market, business market, Corporate, HR and Sales. Our technical translators closely monitor the latest developments within the telecom sector. So before the launch of the BlackBerry, we were already aware of its great potential.
Of course, we handle all this information confidentially. All our staff (including translators and revisers) sign a non-disclosure agreement and we apply strict procedures to safeguard confidentiality.
Due to our long partnership, we have been able to build up an extensive translation memory database. This makes it easy to process a change in a translated user manual for a new version of a phone, thus saving KPN a great deal of time and trouble. All KPN staff know about us, as our details and agreements are posted on the intranet.
